The Man Behind The Decks
Hi I’m Peter, I grew up in Melbourne’s South Eastern Suburbs and I’ve been in and around DJing for the past twenty years.
Like most of us, I started out in Mum & Dad’s garage and worked my way into Melbourne’s CBD bars & nightclubs by my late teens.
Some of my favourite regular gigs were Medusa, Bennigans, Gamma Bar, Tribeca, Lotel, Barcode, Chicane, Viper & Saratoga – playing such a wide variety of gigs and genres has been a blast, but if I had to pick just one – It’d be vocal house….. who can pick just one?
Outside of the regulars, there’s been a couple of highlights; a full house at Liquid in Amsterdam, opening for Sgt Slick at Viper Room, a 2 hour set at St Kilda Festival that somehow became an 8 hour marathon.
These days are a little more relaxed, though the passion fire still burns bright – you can find me Saturday nights at The Social on Chapel St, in residence at Melbourne’s 100% Vinyl trance extravaganza, TR!P, South Yarra’s “Society” New Years Eve Rooftop Party and a whole host of other shows around town.
Facilitating full dance floors has been a way of life for over two decades with no signs of slowing down.
